            Jakarta, February 12, 2025 – Association of CEOs and business and industry
                    leaders Indonesian Business Council (IBC) is organizing the Indonesia Economic
                    Summit (IES) 2025, an international economic forum to accelerate Indonesia’s
                    development and economic growth. IES 2025 will be held on February 18-19, 2025
                    at the Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta.
                    
                    Chairman of IBC Supervisory Board, Arsjad Rasjid, emphasized that IES 2025 is
                    designed as a forum for business actors and policy makers to discuss concrete
                    strategies in navigating global challenges such as investment, manufacturing,
                    sustainable energy, talent, innovation, finance.
                    
                    "Indonesia’s economic growth requires close partnerships across sectors.
                    Alignment of policies in the public sector, private and community is the key to
                    achieving inclusive and sustainable growth," said Arsjad.
                    
                    He underlined IBC’s commitment to strategically connect the private sector,
                    government and global partners. The initial step in realizing this commitment is
                    through IES 2025. "We hope IES 2025 will be a forum to formulate and accelerate
                    the implementation of policies that are pro-investment and pro-economic growth."
                    
                    IES 2025 brings business leaders, policy makers, and global thinkers as speakers,
                    who will discuss effective growth strategies amidst the dynamics of the current
                    geopolitical situation. The organizing of IES 2025 is in line with IBC’s commitment to
                    building a resilient and competitive business ecosystem to support long-term
                    economic growth.
                    
                    IBC CEO Sofyan Djalil said that since its founding in 2023, IBC has become a forum
                    for business leaders to collaborate and strengthen the private sector’s contribution
                    to economic growth and prosperity. IBC members consist of private sector leaders
                    with experience in building and advancing the industry in Indonesia.
                    
                    "With the support of private sector leaders, IBC seeks to promote a good public
                    policy environment to ease business and economic activities, thus strengthening
                    Indonesia’s competitiveness and accelerating its economic growth," said Sofyan.
                    
                    IBC also works with the government to develop strategic policy recommendations
                    based on research and connects the private sector and policy makers. IBC’s work
                    at the moment focuses on strengthening the role of the private sector in driving
                    innovation and investment.
                    
                    IBC COO William Sabandar said IES 2025 offers programs based on topics such as
                    industrialization, fiscal and monetary policy, investment, food security, energy
                    transition, trade diversification, and human talent development.
                    
                    The summit will also host several roundtable sessions to bring together business
                    leaders and strategic partners to discuss business collaboration and investment in
                    Indonesia.
                    
                    "IES will be held annually to encourage collaboration between the private sector and
                    government. The first IES will specifically provide an in-depth view of the new
                    Indonesian government’s economic policies," stated William.
                    
                    IBC confirms 100 national and international speakers will participate at the summit.
                    The speakers come from Indonesia, China, US, Netherlands, Singapore, Saudi
                    Arabia, Australia, South Korea, France, India, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the UK.
                    
                    The upcoming event has also attracted more than 1,000 business leaders who will
                    join as participants. The participants come from various countries accross 48
                    different nationalities. IES 2025 will also host VIP figures such as CEOs and leaders
                    of leading Indonesian and foreign companies, as well as representatives of foreign
                    countries and international organizations.
                    
                    IBC invites partners, trade and industry associations, foreign government
                    representatives and other stakeholders to join the forum. In addition to the main
                    program, participants can take advantage of the opportunity to interact directly with
                    business leaders and senior government officials.
