 
            
                    Jakarta – Indonesian Business Council (IBC) reveals lines of topics and sessions at the
                    Indonesia Economic Summit (IES) held on 3-4 December 2025 in Jakarta. The event is the first of
                    its kind and is set to be an annual event hosting business leaders, global thinkers,
                    policymakers, and professionals to understand the latest and future economic developments in
                    Indonesia and beyond.
                
                    The summit will open with a plenary which aims to provide insights on the new administration
                    strategy for jumpstarting Indonesia’s economic growth and creating a developed economy by 2045.
                    As part of this, it will highlight how Indonesia and the countries in the region are shaping an
                    effective and sustainable regional partnership as an important factor in ensuring the national
                    development of the countries involved.
                
                    As the association of Indonesian business and industry leaders, IBC wants to highlight key
                    issues critical for boosting the economy and achieving high growth. Topics such as
                    industrialization, food security, energy transition, and others will highlight IES’s key plenary
                    and panel sessions.
                
                    The summit will also explore strategies for Indonesia’s journey towards an advanced country.
                    Indonesia understands it requires strategic policies devoted to stimulating a sustainable higher
                    growth rate and to promote social inclusiveness and welfare.
                
                    On the second day, participants will have the opportunity to join sessions with international
                    speakers discussing topics around geopolitics, including: Promoting a “Good Neighbour Policy” in
                    a Fragmented World, A Stronger Partnership for Regional Growth, Shaping Indonesia’s Strategic
                    Role in the Global South, and others.
