Richard Liang graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology, majoring in Communication and Information System. Joining ZTE Corporation in 2004, he is one of the long-cultivated international management talents of the company, with over twenty years of practical experience in the telecommunications industry and global markets.

Throughout his career at ZTE, Richard has been deeply engaged in overseas markets. He has worked in key regions including Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, serving numerous major global telecom operators. He was in charge of sales operations in multiple countries and regions such as the South African Region, Tanzania and Saudi Arabia, and took an in-depth part in a host of large-scale national-level network construction projects and strategic cooperation initiatives with telecom operators. He has accumulated extensive experience in network planning, commercial operations and customer management amid complex market environments.

Since 2014, he has set foot in the Indonesian market for the first time. He successively took charge of key core customers in Indonesia, driving the successful implementation of multiple major network projects. He also played a pivotal role in the collaboration with cross-border corporate clients and the development of long-term cooperation mechanisms.

Starting from 2018, he has served as the Chief Representative of ZTE Corporation Indonesia Representative Office, taking full responsibility for ZTE's market strategy, operation and management, as well as ecological cooperation in Indonesia. Under his leadership, ZTE has continuously deepened partnerships with mainstream telecom operators, government agencies and industrial partners in Indonesia, making continuous new progress in fields including 4G, 5G, bearer networks, digital infrastructure and green low-carbon technologies. Meanwhile, he has led ZTE Indonesia to actively participate in local talent cultivation, carrying out cooperation with a number of universities and research institutions to support the sustainable development of Indonesia's digital economy and telecommunications industry.

Richard has always adhered to the philosophy of long-term development. He is committed to deeply integrating ZTE's global technological capabilities with Indonesia's local demands, and jointly building a stable, advanced and future-oriented communications network with partners.
