Mulya Amri, Ph.D. is a public policy specialist with over 20 years of experience in urban and regional development across Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and the U.S. He has a rich portfolio of urban planning, economic development, strategic research, policy advocacy, and executive education projects, where he weaved impactful collaborations with government agencies, global corporations, and the civil society.
Dr. Amri has published extensively and is often interviewed by Indonesian news outlets. He has chaired and spoken in panels with ministers, mayors, and CEOs of global corporations. He is co-founder and executive director of Kadin Indonesia Institute and regularly teaches at the ITB School of Business and Management. During the 2024 presidential elections, Dr. Amri was a member of President Prabowo’s Expert Board, contributing to write the government’s eight missions (Asta Cita) and key programs for 2024-29.
Dr. Amri has a Ph.D. in public policy from the National University of Singapore, a master’s in urban planning from UCLA, and a bachelor’s degree in architecture from ITB.
